DNS Performance Test is a portable freeware tool which can check the performance of your DNS server and shows the result. If the performance is poor you can consider changing to open DNS or even Google’s DNS servers. The app will check the DNS query time and based on the average time, it rates the DNS server.
The app performs in a very simple manner, it will resolve the IP addresses in random order of the included list of 10,000 domain names inside the domains.txt file. The app comes with a text file which has around 10000+ domains listed. You can add your own domains to the list.
