At the start of 2014, the entry level or the budget category was a segment where OEMs were not really focused and many of the smartphones which were launching had either poor hardware or out-dated software. But things have changed drastically in the last 6 months or so after Motorola, ASUS and Xiaomi announced their budget phones with mid range specs and half the pricing.
Now, the budget segment is totally a different segment with lots of new devices with terrific specs and performance are coming in. The phone will also come with 16GB internal storage which is again better than A6000 with 8GB storage. The phone will run Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI and probably will be upgradable to Lollipop like the A6000. The device is priced Rs 7499.
