How to Change the Default Icon for Removable Drives Wie Ändern des Standard-Icon für Wechselplatten -

The Removable drive looks like this, without any customizations and its confusing if you have more than one drives connected to your PC. The default look of Removable drives like USB pen drives, Memory cards for phones and cameras can be changes using these 3 simple steps. Die Standard-Look von Wechseldatenträger wie USB-Sticks, Speicherkarten für Handys und Kameras können diese Änderungen mit 3 einfachen Schritten.
1. First step is to find a good icon which will represent the removable drive. 1. Erster Schritt ist es, ein gutes Symbol, das die Wechsellaufwerk. Make sure that the image has . ico extension. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Bild hat. Ico Verlängerung.
2. Open Notepad. 2. Öffnen Sie den Editor. Type in whatever is given in the image. Geben Sie in welcher ist in das Bild.
Here Label denotes the text which you want to display in My Computer when the drive is connected and Icon represents the icon image name. Hier Label kennzeichnet den Text, den Sie anzeigen möchten in My Computer, wenn das Laufwerk angeschlossen ist und Icon-Symbol steht für die Image-Namen. Save this file as autorun.inf. Speichern Sie diese Datei als autorun.inf.
3. Copy both files ( autorun.inf and Icon file ) to your removable drive. 3. Kopieren Sie beide Dateien (autorun.inf und Icon-Datei) zu Ihrem Wechseldatenträger. Nice tip! Nizza-Tipp! Every time I use a USB card reader for SD cards, the icon looks like a bunch of others I have. Jedes Mal, wenn ich mit einem USB-Kartenleser für SD-Karten, das Symbol sieht aus wie ein Haufen von anderen habe ich. Now I can change it to something a bit more different! The trick you have mentioned would also work with Cds and Dvds. Der Trick Sie haben erwähnt würde auch mit CDs und DVDs.

After installing it simply right click on the partition you want to change icon for and set the icon from “Properties”. Nach der Installation ist einfach der rechten Maustaste auf die Partition, die Sie ändern wollen, Symbol für und das Symbol von "Eigenschaften".

that can be done by tweaking registry, if u are not aware of that, better get some tweaking software, lots of such softwares are available.. Dies kann durch Verbessern der Registrierung, wenn u sind nicht bekannt, dass man besser einige Verbessern der Software, viele solcher Software zur Verfügung stehen ..
