Exports Emails, Contacts, Appointments and Tasks in Outlook 2007 and 2010

Outlook Data Export is a free add-in for Microsoft Outlook which allows you to export emails, contacts, appointments, tasks and notes to several file formats. This add-in is supported both on Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 versions. Currently the application supports export to MSG, unicode MSG, RTF, TXT, CSV, ICS, vCard, HTML and XML formats. You can export a complete folder with subfolders or only selected items. You can select export from the add-in tab in Outlook 2010.

You can export emails, contacts, appointments, tasks and notes from Outlook. Once you select the export option, you can configure more details and also the format from the settings menu.

    I would also recommend an external search tool, lookeen is a very good one, it works well with Outlook 2010 (or 2003, 2007) and with Exchange Server (cached or uncached mode, that doesn’t matter).
