Twitter has been one of the social media sites I use regularly and on a daily basis. So when I bought a new MacBook Pro M1 recently, I was looking for the best Twitter experience on my Mac. There are quite a few Twitter apps available in the Mac store and in this post, we will have a look at the best Twitter apps for Mac OS.
Previously, Twitter had its official app available for Mac, but it was killed a couple of years back. So which are the best Twitter apps for Mac, lets find out.
1. TweetDeck:
TweetDeck is one of the oldest apps for Twitter and it is available across different platforms including mobile and desktop. It brings more flexibility and insight to power users through a customizable layout that lets you keep up with the people and topics that matter most to you. And, you can join the conversation by tweeting, sharing photos and links to news stories, and more.
2. Tweetbot for Mac:
Tweetbot is an award-winning, full-featured Twitter client for the Mac. It has a beautiful interface with light & dark themes, multiple-column support, and much more. Unlike TweetDeck, Tweetbot for Mac is not a free app and does not have all the features you get on Twitter’s official app or website. But it has an elegant interface and loaded with features and there is also support for multiple accounts and a clean interface.
3. Twitterrific:
Twitterrific is another good Twitter app for Mac, but once again it is a paid app available in the App Store. It is a friendly, powerful, and modern Twitter client for Mac users. A clean, uncluttered timeline featuring just the content you care about. Tweets are presented in chronological order and other people’s likes aren’t placed in your timeline.
