How to Enable Dark Theme on Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft has released their latest browser based on Chromium, the Edge browser. We had covered on how to download the new Edge browser and also on how to customize the home screen layout on the new browser. Dark Theme or dark mode has been one of the sought after features on smartphones and laptops. Windows 10 has its own dark theme which brings in dark mode for all apps and settings. If you want a similar dark theme on Microsoft Edge browser, it offer an option.

Enable Dark Theme on Microsoft Edge Browser:

In order to enable dark theme, open the browser and select the three dots on the top right corner and select Settings from the menu.

Under the settings, select appearance and on the right side you will see a Theme option. There are three options- light, dark and system default.

If you select dark mode, then Edge browser will go to dark theme. If you select system default, then it will take the theme of your Windows 10. For example, if Windows 10 is using light theme, then browser will also be light and if Windows 10 is using dark, then browser will also be dark.

So based on how you want the browser to appear, you can select the theme on Edge browser.
