Ever since Tweetdeck was acquired by Twitter, a dedicated Windows version was released back in last year which did not require Adobe Air for installing. This new version has many shortcomings including less features when compared to the Adobe Air based version of Tweetdeck. This old version is now not available for download from Tweetdeck website.
But if like the old Adobe Air based Tweetdeck app, you can still get this version. You can download it from here.
This version will require you to have the latest version of Adobe Air runtime installed on your PC. We are hoping that Twitter will add these missing features to latest Tweetdeck for Windows app.
