SkyDrive is one of the popular cloud storage service from Microsoft and recently they had released the Skydrive app for Windows and Mac. Skydrive has a mobile app for iOS and Windows Phone, but there is no official app for Android phones. We had covered some of the available alternatives for SkyDrive on Android phones. Android SkyDrive Explorer is yet another useful free app for Android phones which lets you access and manage your files and folders in SkyDrive from your Android phone.
Using the app, you can view your images and photos or listen to music straight from the cloud, and save any file to your phone with a single click. Once installed, you need to provide access to your Skydrive for the app and once authorized, it displays all your files and folders. The interface is pretty neat and simple. for images and media files it can open directly without downloading to phone, a built in viewer supports media files. You can also download files easily.
You can also create folders from the app in case you want to upload new files. As of now there is no option to copy or paste or even delete files which the developer has promised in newer builds.
Overall, the app performs pretty good considering that it is free and there are no ads in the interface.
