We have already mentioned on how to access shutdown, restart, sleep and other power options in Windows 8 and also mentioned how to add these as shortcuts to start screen. NPowerTray is a new freeware and portable app which adds these power options like shutdown, restart, hibernate, sleep, log off etc to the system tray in Windows 8. This means that you can easily access them when working from the desktop as system tray is unchanged from Windows 7.
