UserPad is a Shutdown/Restart/Log Off Timer for Windows 7

There are many shutdown/restart timer apps available for Windows. UserPad is a simple freeware app with minimalist UI and some useful features. It is a shutdown/restart/log off/hibernate app for Windows 7 which allows you to set the timer and once the time is reached the app will perform the specified action. You can set the timer for shutdown or restart or any other action specified and then start the timer.

UserPad

The timer can be set for hours, minutes and seconds. You can also use the shortcut keys to manage the app. Apart from this, the app also feature shortcut to open task manager. You can even put the screen off using this tool, this can save power when using battery.

The interface is very similar to ribbon UI found in Office 2010. You can pin the app on top of all window or minimize it to system tray.

    Cool find – sad that they use .rar zip file as most windows users dont have a way to extract it 🙁
