Many of us use Internet cafes to browse the web and also we might use USB pen drives while using the café desktops. But once you finish your browsing session, you just shutdown the PC and then forget to take the USB drive. USB Alert is a simple freeware tool, with a portable version, which reminds you to take the USB drives before your shutdown your PC. So incase you are working from another PC, just start the app when you insert the drive and it reminds you while you shutdown the PC.
When you open the app, you can view all the USB drives connected to your PC. It alerts you with sounds and displays a window where it lists your removable devices in case you forget to remove the drives.
You can also manually eject the drives from the app interface.
