Many occasions Windows might throw errors that registry access is blocked or any access permissions denied or even installation failed. Majority of these errors are due to virus attacks on your PC. Manually troubleshooting these issues could take up lot of time and also might not be success all the time. Security Restore is a simple freeware tool that will simply attempt to restore your computer to the default security settings.

Security Restore

This should only be used when you actually have something wrong with your computer. This will normally be after a virus attack and you are trying to register components, for example: when you try and update a Windows installation and it fails due to some reasons.

The application takes around 10 minutes to restore the settings. The application is portable and can be run from the USB drive as well.

The free tool works on Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 and Windows 7.
