There are many tools to record using screen for presentations, but most of them are paid ones and at the same time have lots of features. If you are looking for a simple and easy to use Screen recording software which is free, then iCord should be a decent choice. iCord will produce standard, editable, AVI files from screen capture videos in the simplest manner possible.
The interface of iCord is very simple and has only few buttons for screen recording, pausing and stopping the recording.
When you run iCord, it switches the screen resolution to 800 X600 as recording is possible only with this resolution.
iCord can save the recording as avi files only. Although iCord Screen Capture does not have in depth feature, this should be a handy tool especially for the fact that it is portable and does not require any installation.
