TinyURL Generator is a Firefox add-on to quickly create tiny URLs from Firefox. The add-on can generate a tiny URL address for the page you are currently viewing in the background. The URL created is then copied into your clipboard so that it can be pasted into emails or IM messages instantly. You can either choose to create a direct link, or one that allows the recipient to preview the link before visiting it.
You can also add an option for creating tiny URLs in the Firefox context menu. This can be added from the options menu.
When you click on the link icon in the bottom toolbar of Firefox, the add-on will create the tiny URL automatically in the background and when its done successfully, it shows a success symbol. You can paste the URL directly to any service as the URL is copied to the clipboard.
This add-on is very useful for people to share long URLs and also helpful to tweet long URL. This add-on is an experimental add-on, so you will need to login before downloading.
