We have the feature of Auto-reply to mails in Outlook. Now imagine someone is trying to contact you through Windows Live Messenger when you are away from your computer or stepped out. Here is a simple FREEWARE application which is capable of sending an auto-reply from Windows Live Messenger when some one trying to contact you when you are logged in and your status is other than online.
Windows Live Messenger Auto-Reply is an add-in to auto-reply to messages sent with very simple verbiage, like: “I’m currently away from my computer but I will get back to you as soon as possible”. You can customize the message to include your own text and may be mobile number to contact you.
This Freeware will allow you to customize auto-reply messages for the following status:

- Busy

What about the Messenger Plus add-on for Windows Live Messenger? Messenger Plus has an auto-reply feature and more, including the “tabbed chat” which I couldn’t live without

Messenger Plus add-on also features the same and it has more features as well. This one is a lighter add-on.
I might look into this as even though there’s a message explaining your current status, most people don’t see or take notice and just assume you are there and not replying just because you haven’t logged off.

Windows plus add-on for our Windows Live Messenger is very fun indeed but auto-reply feature in it can only be used when we are Away or Busy.Not to mention its quite heavier than this app too.
