Create Fonts from your Handwriting with YourFonts

YourFonts is a free online service which helps you to create fonts from your handwriting. With YourFonts, you can create your own OpenType fonts within a couple of minutes. The process of creating your own fonts is simple. You need to download the template which is available in PDF and image format and fill the template with your own handwriting. Once the template is complete, scan the file and then upload it back to YourFonts.

Only characters that are written down on the template are added to the font, so if you only need a few characters, then only write those down. If you don’t want accented characters, you can skip page two of the template. Once you have filled the template, scan it properly using a good scanner. Once the template is scanned, you can upload the templates using the upload window.

Once you upload the template, you can see a preview of your font and if it looks ok, you can download it in the next step. YourFonts is a totally free service to create your own fonts from your handwriting.

Another feature of YourFonts is that you can optionally include your signature in the font created. You can use your fonts created using this tool in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and every program that you own.
