Windows Live Writer, the most popular blogging free software was recently updated in the Windows Live Wave Beta release. There are few new plugins available for Windows Live Writer which are very much useful for bloggers. The new plugins available are “DiggThis” badge for the blog post, Twitter Notify and Flickr Uploader. These plug-ins were created by the Windows Live Writer Team at Microsoft.
1. DiggThis- This plugin will add a DiggThis badge to let visitors Digg your post. You can also choose your desired style and alignment in the options menu. You can Download the plugin from here.
2. Twitter Notify- This is another useful plugin for Twitter users, the most popular micro-blogging platform. With this plugin, Twitter users will be able to tweet the newly published posts as Tweet using the desired Message format. You can download the plugin from here.
3. Flickr Uploader- When you insert an inline image in your blog post in Windows Live Writer it also uploads that image to Flickr you when publish your post. This is useful for all Flickr users as they don’t have to upload it separately. You can download the plugin here.

I really hate Windows Live Writer as it don’t have the support for Wordpress Custom Fields. So i am a great fan of Blog Desk which supports Wordpress Custom Fields very well !
