Microsoft Live Labs has released a cool sidebar gadget for Vista which allows you to create and save your own color palettes and search palettes. Color Picker makes it easy for you to use the colors you use most across all applications. This gadget could come handy for website designers or graphic designers who needs to get exact color codes for design. The gadget looks cool in the sidebar.

While some programs have color management, sometimes you’ll need to use a palette across many programs like Expression Blend, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS, and Flash.  This handy sidebar gadget keeps your palettes at your fingertips, letting you quickly sample each hex code to your clipboard, so you can easily use your colors across all applications.

Vista users can download the Color Palettes from Live Gallery.
