Encrypt your Text Files with LockNote Encryption Freeware
LockNote is an efficient freeware application that will securely encrypt your text files. It is basically an application and document in one: the mechanism to encrypt and decrypt a note is part of it. LockNote is a small freeware which is only 312Kb and no installation is required for encrypting files. Simply drag and drop existing text files on a LockNote window: they will be encrypted automatically.
Once you drag and drop the text file into the application, it asks for the password for protecting the files.
Once the file is encrypted, then it is saved as self extracting encrypted file, so when the file is opened it asks for the password.
