Recover Deleted Files in Windows Using Restoration
If you have deleted an important file from your hard disk, then you can try out the freeware Restoration for restoring deleted files. Restoration can restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted using the shift key. Another good feature of this freeware is that it does not require any installation. It attempts to recover all or parts of the deleted file.
The more recent is the deletion, the better chance of restoring it. This freeware will not be able to restore files if another files or folder have occupied the cluster locations. This freeware can also work as file shredder to destroy files found in the search. Since the file is very small in size, it can be easily run from a floppy disk or a USB pen drive.
Restoration is definitely worth a try for its portability and no installation features.
