    excellent article. itasveer is a cool service and even the founders are really cool guys. I met them and all the 4 guys are doing great work. However, as the post shows that the competition is stiff…snapfish has the lowest price…..however I wonder how you came to the conclusion of printing quality.

    Nice post Nirmal. I havent tried any of these so far but i am interested in getting a few Poster Prints . Which ones have you tried yourself ?

    Good comparison, but I personally feel that we need more services and competition before it is economically viable ;)

    @Mayank,
    Itasveer is a great site for online printing, I came to the conclusion on qualtity based on the prints ordered, not all were ordered by me, but I got a chance to see the photos.

    @Madhur,
    I would suggest Itasveer for posters, they have attractive rates also.

    @Sumesh,
    More services will soon follow as we can already see lot of players in this area.

    Good article. :cool:

    Is the price competitive? I can anytime walk to a studio and get the stuff done. I feel ’secure’ for some strange reason.

    Some how other than important occasions, I prefer to have my photos organized in Aperture or iPhoto.

  • nirmaltv (Author) said:

    @Ashwin,
    Prices may not be competitive, but take this case, you dont have a negative of your photo, only a scanned copy, then this is definitely competitive, studios charge more for a scanned print.

    Good article, i felt iTasveer is a good one among, it has some interesting things like Doodle etc.
    This market is already crowded, there are many sites in this space. The entry costs for this is low, any one who has a access to a digital lab can start offering photo printing.

    @Ram,
    Right, the market is already crowded and the one who gives competitive rates and features will survive.

    I liked itasveer & snapfish .
    wht I feel is if we come back from vacation or clicking spot ,you just want to see them as soon as possible on prints so will you wait till them arrive @ doorstep via shipping or just walk in near studio & hold them in own hands :twisted:

    @Rahul,
    If you have some 200 photos on your digital camera’s memory card, would you go to studio and develop or use an online service?
