Microsoft Office is a suite of applications and one of the popular productivity tools available and the suite includes Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Microsoft initially offered Office suite of applications on Windows and now it is available on all major platforms including Android and iOS. But the Office Suite of applications is not a free tool, but you can still get Microsoft office for free and try it before buying it. If you are using Windows or Android or iOS device, you can actually download the free versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and try out the features (limited). While these apps are free to download, you will not get the entire feature set in free apps and they might be limited in features. You can download Microsoft office using the links below.

Another good feature of Microsoft office suite is that it is available for free for devices with screen size below 10 inches. This means you get the option to view and edit documents on the go with Android or iOS device without having to buy the software. So instead of using a Windows desktop, you can try out the features of Microsoft Office for free on an Android smartphone or iPhone and iPad (iPad pro not supported).

 

For Screen size above 10.1 inches:

If you want to use Word, Excel or PowerPoint on screen sizes above 10.1 inches or a Windows desktop or laptop, then you can still go for a free trial before purchasing. Office 365 subscription is a good option for trying out Office. You can try Office 365 for a month for free before making a decision on whether to buy or not.
