Last year YouTube had rolled out a new feature for YouTube on desktop browsers, the ability to auto play the next track. This means when you are playing a YouTube video, once it is completed, the next video is automatically played. Google is now rolling out this feature for YouTube on Android.
So if you are using the YouTube app on Android for watching videos, the app will now start auto playing the next video unless you turn it off. Here is how to turn it off.
Google will be playing video automatically from the related section of your current video. But turning off the auto play is quite simple on YouTube app. Just below the Subscribe button for the channel, you will see a slider which allows you to disable the auto play feature.
Once you have turned it off, it should be disabled for all channels unless you again turn it on. Auto play is not a very popular feature especially if you are on data connection with limited plan. Auto play will keep on playing even after you have watched your favorite video.
