At the launch of Mi4 in India, Xiaomi had mentioned that other devices which were released in India would be getting the MIUI 6 update. The first to receive the update was Mi3 and now Redmi Note 4G variant is getting the OTA update. We have already covered on how to install the update manually on Redmi Note 4G in case you haven’t received the OTA update.
The OTA update is around 577MB in size and you can download it on your Redmi Note 4G. The update will take only couple of minutes and you will have MIUI 6 once the upgrade is complete.
The update takes the Android version on the device to 4.4.4 KitKat and we are not sure if this device will be getting the Lollipop update. If you have not received the OTA update, you can manually download the update and follow the steps we mentioned in our post.
