Although for many users, tablets cannot replace your desktop, it still can do a lot of tasks like emails, browsing, playing games, watching movies and more. And top of these, there is also portability aspect for tablets when you are on the move. Tablets have been gaining popularity ever since the release of Apple’s iPad. Initially the tablets were primarily in the premium segment, but things have drastically changed in the past one year.

We have seen quite a lot of tablets with affordable or cheap pricing with decent specs. The budget Android tablet market is filled with tons of tablets which might not give you great performance, but there are still some good ones. Here is a list of few good Android tablets below $200.

The device sports an 8.0 inch capacitive touch screen display with the same 1280 x 800 pixel resolutions .The handset  is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and runs on  on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating system. In the imaging front, the tablet is equipped with 5 MP auto focus front facing camera and a 2 MP front camera for video calling. It comes with 3G (Optional), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 in the connectivity end and is supported by 4200 mAh battery. The device has 3G (optional) variant and dual front facing speakers.


Dell Venue 8

The Venue 8 comes with a 8 inch full-HD (1920×1200) display and a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480) and runs Android 4.4 (KitKat).It has 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot. It also features 5MP rear,comes with a 2MP front facing camera and pack a 4550 mAh battery. The tablet has useful productivity software as well, which lets you remotely control your PC from the tablet. .


Lenovo A10 Tablet

The Lenovo A10 sports a 10.1 inch HD display sporting a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and the screen can be flipped around 300 degrees.There is a 0.3MP camera at the front and stereo speakers that give a great video chat experience. The device is powered by a RK3188 processor which is a quad-core A9 processor clocked at 1.6Ghz and it has 1GB RAM. It also comes with a 16GB SSD internal storage. It has battery life of about nine hours of continuous video playback.


Amazon Fire HD 6

The device comes with a 6.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It is powered by Dual-core 1.5 GHz and runs on Android OS, v4.4 (KitKat customized). It features 2 MP, 1600 x 1200 pixels primary camera and VGA secondary camera. It has 1 GB RAM and 8/16 GB internal storage.
