Motorola had announced the 2nd generation Moto G also called as New Moto G last week. The device was also launched in India along with the global launch and it comes with few upgrades compared to the previous version which has been a great success in India. The new Moto G comes with 5 inch HD display, 1280 X 720p and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core processor with 1GB RAM and it comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD card. The previous Moto G did not have expandable storage option. The new Moto G also comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. There is also improvements to the camera in the form of 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Here is the unboxing of the device with first impressions.

Inside the box, we have the Moto G, standard earphones and the charger along with user guides and warranty information. There is no USB cable similar to the previous version.
In the first boot you will notice the brilliant HD display which is vibrant and looks great.
Design wise, there isn’t much changes as the volume and power button sits on the right side and they have a chrome finish. The top panel is glossy while the back cover is matte finish.
The 3.5mm audio jack is on the top and the micro USB charging slot is at the bottom.
The 8MP camera along with flash and Motorola logo is on the back cover.
The above the 5 inch display you have the front camera and the speakers. The speakers have chrome finish and gives it a premium feel.
