After so many rumours of Microsoft releasing the Office suite for iOS and Android, Microsoft has finally released the iPhone version of Office Mobile. Office Suite is one of the best products to manage documents, spreadsheets and presentations and now it comes to iPhone as well. But unlike the Windows edition, you need a subscription to use Office Mobile for iPhone. The app is free of cost, but you need an Office 365 Home Premium or Office 365 ProPlus.

The app is similar to the free Office Mobile for Windows Phone that ships with every handset and the iPhone app enables great Office content viewing and on-the-go content editing capabilities. After signing in to an Office 365 account, you can access, view and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents from anywhere.

The good feature of this app is that it brings in the same consistent experience you get on the desktop. So a file created on desktop version of Word or Excel will have the same formatting and details when you open it on the iPhone version. It supports charts, animations, SmartArt graphics and shapes.

Office Mobile has been optimized for the small screen of your phone so you can get the important things done quickly. You can sync the documents across multiple devices using SkyDrive.

If you want to use Office on iPhone, you need to get a subscription for Office 365 which is priced at $99 yearly or $9.99 monthly billing. The app is compatible with iPhone 4, 4S, and 5, iPod Touch 5th generation and requires iOS 6.1 or later.
