Google Takeout is a service which allows you to download your personal files from Google services and this was launched by Google back in 2011. When it was launched, there was only a few services available from where you could download your data. Over a period of time Google had added Google +1s and also Google Docs.

Google Takeout has once again been updated with support for downloading your own YouTube videos. So in case you have used YouTube to upload videos, you can now backup all your YouTube videos using this service. With Google Takeout, you can download all of the original videos that you have uploaded in a few simple clicks.

When you log into Takeout, you can see the additional YouTube option available. When you select YouTube, the service calculates the number of videos available and then estimates the size as well.
