Windows 8, the latest OS from Microsoft comes with many new features and improvements over Windows 7. Run commands are commands in Windows, which allows you to quickly access features and applications which are default in Windows. For example, if you want to access computer management tool in Windows, instead of using the Control panel to open it, you can use the run command compmgmt.msc and open it quickly. These run commands are available for almost all settings available in Windows control panel.

Similar to Windows 7, here is the list of run commands for Windows 8.

Hihi – I know one you forgot… Something you totally forgot to begin with 🙂

From: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,7997.0.html and originally from: http://www.technoon.com/how-to-open-run-command-in-windows-8.html

    Ready? The Run…. command for Run… is… run! :>

Search (windows 8) for ‘run’ and you will get a “run” app you can pin and run anyway you’d like 🙂

How else can Windows 8 users use this excellent list of run commands… :p

    Thank you & Peace :>

    Devvie

I would like to point out that there are 2 odbcad32.exe file. One is in System32 for 32 bit applications and one in SysWOW64 for 64 bit apps.
