Pinterest is a very popular pinboard style photo sharing service. It has an official iPhone app which allows user to share then images online on Pinterest. But there is no official Android app available for Pinterest. Although there were a few apps, recently Pinterest shutdown access to third party app because of spam apps in Android market. Pin My Photo is a new app for Android which allows users to share photos to Pinterest. To start using the app, you need to login with your Pinterest ID and password (no oAuth available).
Once you have logged in, you can share images two ways, one is to tap on the app and select the image from the gallery. The second method is to actually navigate to the gallery and then select the photo and using the share button click on PinMyPhoto.
Once the photo is selected, you can set the board and enter the caption for the image.
The app optimises the photos before uploading to Pinterest.
PinMyPhoto is a very simple and straight forward app to use Pinterest on Android. The app does not allow you to view other user Pins or access the latest feed, this is just to share your photos from Android.
