Although you can manually find the size of any folder in Windows, it is difficult process if you have large number of folders. Identifying the largest size folders in such cases is quite a tedious task. MakeRoom is a simple freeware app for Windows which can easily scan your folders in all the drives and then list them based on the size occupied by it. Another interesting feature of the app is its animation effects while scanning folders. Although not of much use, the scanning animation is neatly done.
Once the scan is complete, it lists all the folders with large sizes across all the drives. You can also filter the folder list for a particular drive .
The app can also classifies the folder content by file types (e.g. music, videos, pictures etc.) and allows you to exclude certain file categories from the report. When you click on any folder in the report
