Avast!, one of the popular anti-virus tools available for Windows, both in free and paid versions, has released the new beta of their latest Avast! 7. Users who wish to test the new beta versions can download Avast Free, Avast Pro and Avast Internet Security from the official beta announcement thread in the Avast forum. The new beta version comes with new features and improvements and one of the major changes is the new UI along with new security features. Another important feature of this beta version is that it works with Windows 8 Developer preview version.
If you are already running Avast! 6, then you do not have to uninstall it as the beta version can be installed on top of it. There is a custom installation option where you can select the components which can be installed on your Windows. There is a cloud based service for checking the reputation of apps from reputed servers on the cloud.
