Google Reader is the most popularly used service for reading feeds, but the main problem with Google Reader is the non availability of desktop app for it. WebReader is an awesome freeware tool based on Adobe Air which allows you to read your Google Reader subscribed feeds from your desktop. The best feature of WebReader is its interface which is very neat and allows reading of feeds in the best possible way. There are also host of features for sharing articles with social networks like Twitter, Facebook etc.
There are multiple views available, full article view, excerpts view and also titles view. You can easily share the articles on Facebook, Twitter or via email and also like and star the article like Google reader. There is also option to increase the font size.
Apart from these, there is also desktop alerts for new items in your reader.
WebReader is probably the best desktop version of Google Reader we have seen. There are also other Google Reader desktop client available which we have reviewed in the past. WebReader works on Adobe Air, you need to have the Adobe Air installed on your PC.
