DesktopConstructor is a simple freeware and portable tool which allows you to customize the Windows desktop more than the default available options in Windows. This tool allows you to automatically change background image, add desktop clock or calendar, fade desktop with color gradients and more. The application is compatible with Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista/Windows 7.
You can select the folder for wallpapers and then set the update interval and the tool will automatically rotate it. The application runs from the system tray.
You can also add a desktop clock and calendar. You can configure your own clock using one of 20 presets available. You can also create colored areas for the icons on the desktop.
The application comes in both installable as well as portable versions.
