Lots of programs add themselves to start up items in Windows when you install them and this results in drastic performance issues on Windows. Startup Guard is a simple, but powerful freeware tool which allows you to monitor and manage start up entries in Windows. Startup Guard alerts you of new entries in Windows and only once you approve it, the item is added to start up. Startup Guard will monitor PC’s startup area and apply changes according your preferences.
Viruses and spyware also put their links to the startup area and start with Windows. You can catch them using Startup Guard, but it is recommended for advanced users only.
At any point, if you have deleted any start up record, the application allows you to undo delete start up.
