Quickly Access Recently Modified Files in any Directory with Piles for Windows

Many times we download files from Internet and search for the downloaded directory or sometimes we modified a word or excel file but forgot the location where you saved. But not anymore, Piles for Windows is an awesome tool which allows you to quickly access all recently modified files in any directory in Windows. Piles for Windows create simple list, easily launched from taskbar, containing recently used files from selected folder, and helps you quickly access you newest downloads, documents you worked on lately and any other files you use often.

Piles for Windows

When you run the application, it sits in the taskbar and when you click the icon, it shows the list of recently modified files. You can right click the taskbar icon and then create a custom pile for any directory. In case you want to monitor recent files only in one directory, you can add the directory.

Browse for the folder location and give a suitable name to the pile created.

Piles for Windows work best when pinned to windows Taskbar – program is designed to be an alternative way of pinning directories. It lets you quickly open recently changed files, but also is capable of easily opening whole directory. You can also integrate it to the context menu of explorer.
