We all know that National Geographic channel has the best coverage of photography of nature and animals. This freeware could get you the best wallpapers in few clicks. Now the developer has updated the application with few more feature making it more easier to sort the photos.
The version 2.0 has the biggest improvements so far and brings in some great features for downloading wallpapers. Initially the application could download only wallpapers from 2008 and 2009, now it is updated with wallpapers from 2007 as well as International photographic contest. You can also select the resolution of wallpapers before downloading them. In case you are not sure of your desktop resolution, hit the Get Resolution button located at the bottom.
In other improvements, there is also a box at the right hand side which shows the number of wallpapers available in each section. Apart from these you can also download wallpapers from National Geographic website which are categorized into photography, animals, science etc. Author also confirms that the later versions would have more categories for download.
