The popular tool included in Windows, Paint, has a totally new interface when it comes to Windows 7. It has a ribbon interface like the Office applications. PaintRibbon is a freeware tool which brings in the same functionality and the user interface of MS paint in Windows 7 to Windows XP and Vista users. Currently PaintRibbon can only open and save .pic (pict) image files and has the exact interface of Paint in Windows 7.
PaintRibbon offers basic drawing capabilities including:
- Line, Circle, Square and Star shapes
- Different line widths
- A variety of fill and stroke color options
- The ability to move drawn shapes
