Monitores is a simple and free utility which helps you to save energy while using computers. Monitores is a small utility which helps you to turn off monitor or activate your screensaver automatically when you lock down your machine. This could help you save energy when you away from your PC and also electricity bill.
The application has 2 options, either turn off monitor or opting for screen saver mode. You can also make the application to start with Windows. It runs from the system tray and does the job with the hot-key mentioned (CTRL + F2).
The utility does not require any installation and can run directly from the .exe file.
A new version of this application is expected this month end, so might be some more changes or features included.
