At the start of 2014, the entry level or the budget category was a segment where OEMs were not really focused and many of the smartphones which were launching had either poor hardware or outdated software. But in May 2014, things changed drastically when Motorola announced the Moto E with decent specs and came with latest software. This is when other OEMs starting bringing in competitive devices.

      Lava Iris X5 isnt really great with respect to hardware and performance. It comes with Broadcom processor and good only for selfies.
