We had recently written an article on how to convert PDF files to JPG format which included online as well as offline conversions. DocsPal is another free online service which is an online file converter and viewer. It supports various images, documents and archive formats including PDF, word, PowerPoint, html, open office documents, bmp, jpeg, tiff, png and many others.
Conversion process is similar to other online services, select the file, chose the original format of the file and convert to format. The service uploads the document, converts it and displays a link to download the converted file.
You can also optionally email the download link instead of downloading directly from the server. There is also a file viewer where you can upload files to be viewed, this is handy and if you want to view a document when there is no word or PDF reader installed on your PC.
DocsPal is in beta, but the service is good. We tried converting a PDF to document and had pretty good results.
