GoDaddy other web services are also slow.But gives good amount of features in decent cost(compared to dreamhost)
you can as well as try http://instantdomainsearch.com/ …. got same features but (less domain types)..redirects you to go-daddy with their coupon codes integrated, so that you don’t have to search for coupons online!
