Box.Net Launches Web Documents

Box.Net has announced a new feature that lets users create simple documents online which are called Web Documents and all created within the users Box workspace. Web Documents are similar to regular Microsoft Word documents, except they don’t require any downloading to view, and are much smaller in size. You can add tables and images, control complete text formatting, and even embed YouTube videos and other media in Web Documents.

Box.Net web documents have most of the features of normal word document and also includes basic formatting like font, sixe, alignment, spell check and printing documents directly from the web interface. To change the name of the document, you need click on the title of the document which opens a pop up.

Rename document

There is also option to auto save documents. Once you have done with the web document, you can have a preview or start sharing with friends. You can also make the document private. When you make the document public, a link is automatically created forsharing.

Share Documents

Although there are other web document services like Google Docs and Zoho, integration of web document of to the existing Box.Net might be useful for users.
