How to Remove the Send Feedback Link in Windows 7

Windows 7 Beta version was made public few days back by Microsoft for testing purpose. This can be sometimes annoying as this link sits near the Windows maximize and minimize buttons. This can be removed using a simple registry hack.

NB: Please take a back up of registry before making any changes.

1. Click on the start menu and Click Run-> regedit.
2. This opens the registry editor. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Here you can see an entry by name FeedbackToolEnabled.
3. Double click on the DWORD value and make it to 0 from the current value.
4. Close the editor and log off Windows to take the effect.

Next time you log into Windows 7, you will not see the Send Feedback link.
