ShowDocument is an interesting online service which allows you to arrange web meetings and share documents among various participants. You can sign up and create a free account and start free web meetings using this website. When you start a web meeting, you can share files, start document editing with other attendees, whiteboard, screen sharing, camera, maps and much more features available. You can invite multiple people for meetings online by sending the unique ID of the meeting.
You can upload, share, discuss and annotate on a wide range of documents, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, PDF, text, image and video clip files. If you want multiple users to work on a document, then you can co-edit, collaborate and work on document type files (e.g. DOC, RTF, TXT) with colleagues, business partners, clients or anyone else connected to the Internet.
ShowDocument lets you do quick and easy real-time collaboration with others with no software required. There is also chat option to have a quick chat with the participants of the meeting. ShowDocument is a really nice way to have effective online meeting with tons of features and real time involvements.
Having said these, the free account has some restrictions, only a maximum of three participants and total meeting should be maximum of 30 min. You get only 10MB of storage space. Further there is no support for audio and video in the free account.
Additionally, you can also use tools like webex, R-HUB web conferencing servers, gomeetnow, gotomeeting etc. for all your web meeting needs. They work well.
