Ever wanted to transfer large files but most of the online services have a limit to the file size? Smash is a new file transfer service where you can share those large files with several GB of data to your friends without having to worry about size limit of the file. Smash has a dead simple interface wherein you can simply select the file you want to transfer and enter the email of the person whom you want to sent and Smash takes care of it.

Transfer Files without Size Limit

You can either click on the interface to select the files or drop the files by dragging to the interface. You can add multiple files to the interface. Once you are done with the file selection, you get three options to share it. You can either email it or share the link or even share it to Slack.

If you are sharing a link, you also get an option to customize the link and add a title to it. Other options to customize the link is to add a background color, text, select the duration the file will be available and also add a password for the link. You can also select if you want notifications when the file is downloaded.

Features of Smash:

  • No ads
  • No size limit
  • Files available up to 14 days
  • Preview files (photos, videos) before downloading
  • Customization of the link

Smash looks promising service especially the no file size limit. As of now, the service is limited to web only, we would have liked if the service if it also came with an Android app to share files easily from smartphones.
