Smartphones have evolved over the year and we have seen great improvements in the hardware on smartphones. We have seen better displays, processors, camera and even great improvements to the software. One of the new features which has been making its way into midrange and budget smartphones is the fingerprint scanner. While initially this feature was limited to flagship devices, today we have lot of mid range phone with fingerprint scanner.

This feature brings in added security to the device and also brings in privacy as well. Today we take a look at some of the midrange and budget smartphones (below Rs 25000) which comes with fingerprint scanner in India.

1. Coolpad Note 3:

Recently announced Coolpad Note 3 is one of the best smartphones below Rs 10000 and comes with a fingerprint scanner. It has a 5.5 inch HD display, Octa core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal storage. It also has Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom UI and a 3000mAh battery.

2. Panasonic Eluga Mark:

Panasonic Eluga Mark is one of the recently announced mid range phone with fingerprint scanner. It also features 5.5-inch HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage space. It has a 2500mAh battery along with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

The device is priced Rs 11990.

3. Lenovo Vibe P1:

Lenovo Vibe P1 was first announced at IFA 2015 and made its way into India in November. The device comes with 5.5-inch FHD (1920X1080) IPS display and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. The fingerprint scanner is available on the home button. It also features a 5000mAh battery along with aluminium frame.

The device is priced Rs 15999 and is good value for money phone.

4. Samsung Galaxy S5:

While the Samsung Galaxy S5 is not a new device as it was launched back in March 2014, it is still one of the good flagship devcies to buy as the price has come down drastically. The device is now available for around Rs 22000. The phone comes with 5.1 inch display and is powered by Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM. It has the fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button.

5. OnePlus 2:

OnePlus 2 is the flagship device of OnePlus and comes with 5.5 inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor with 4GB DDR3 RAM. There is 64GB internal storage and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom UI. The fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 2 is integrated to the home button and is easy to use and stores up to 5 unique fingerprints, and extremely fast. The device is available for Rs 24999.

6. Meizu MX5:

Meizu MX5 is yet another mid range phone with impressive specs. The phone comes with 5.5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display (1080p) and is powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T SoC with octa-core CPU. The phone also comes with 3GB of RAM and supported with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card.

The fingerprint scanner is located on the home button and it is priced Rs 19999.

7. Honor 7:

The Honor 7 comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 423ppi. The phone is powered by the 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset while clocking the speed at 2.2 GHz and this is an in-house processor. The phone also packs 3GB of RAM.

The device comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage along with micro SD card expansion slot. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera which can be used as a method to unlock the phone and make secure payments.

8. Nexus 5X:

Nexus 5X is made by LG and comes with 5.2-inch 1080p (Full HD) display and is powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 16GB and 32GB internal storage without an expansion slot.

The Nexus 5X also comes with Finger print sensor on rear panel and Google calls this Nexus Imprint. The device is now priced Rs 21999.
