Micromax had announced couple of selfie focused phones in the past including the midrange phone, the Canvas Selfie. Recently the company announced the Canvas Selfie lens and now two more budget selfie focused smartphones have been announced. The new devices Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 are budget devices with better selfie cameras.
The Canvas Selfie 3 is the better of the two with 4.8 inch HD AMOLED display (1280 X 720p) with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.
The phone has 8GB of internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with 8MP rear camera with Blue Glass 5P Largan Lens with LED flash and also a front 8MP front camera with 78 degrees wide-angle lens.
The phone supports dual SIM card with 3G and has 2300mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 comes with a bigger display but with lower resolution. The phone has 5-inch (854×480 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and features dual SIM card with 3G support. There is also 2000mAh battery included in the phone.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Canvas Selfie 2 is priced Rs 5999 and will be available offline and online starting August 22nd. The Canvas Selfie 3 comes in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow colors, but the price is not yet announced by the company.
I want to purchase the phone having 5mp front & 8mp rear camera with lollipop version under 7000.
