Design wise, the device is pretty decent although there isn’t any refreshing design. But it is acceptable for a budget category. The power and volume keys are on the right side, while the micro USB charging slot and 3.5 mm audio jack are placed on the top. The rear panel houses the 8MP camera with LED flash, Lenovo branding and Dolby speakers at the the bottom.
The front panel houses the 5 inch HD display, 2MP front camera and the three capacitive buttons at the bottom, but they are not backlit. The matte finish rear panel looks pretty decent and the overall build quality of the device is good.
The display on the device is a 5 inch HD display (720P) which is an IPS LCD. The display looks pretty good and the brightness levels are impressive. The touch response was just average, but we need to use it more to see how it goes. The phone has 2300mAh battery and dual SIM card support. The SIM card 1 has 4G LTE and 3G support while slot 2 is only 2G.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM. The performance of the device was pretty good in the first boot. The processor is a 64bit and runs Android KitKat 4.4.4. The phone has Vibe UI, but it is a bit different from the UI on Vibe X2 as the options are less on this device. The camera interface of the device is impressive and there is pretty good amount of options available. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and out of which 4.36GB is available in the first boot.
Overall, for a price of Rs 6999, the device looks solid especially the specs it offers and will give tough competition for Redmi Note and Yureka (although they are priced slightly higher with better specs). We will have the detailed review coming up on our blog soon, meanwhile do check out our YouTube channel for more videos on this device.
