Lava has launched Iris Selfie 50, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone few days back. The device is the second device which if focused on selfies after the Iris X5. The phone comes with a FWVGA resolution display (854 X 480pixels) with a pixel density of 240ppi. The display has IPS panel and supports multi touch. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat).
On the imaging front, it features a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash to capture better selfies, similar to the Iris X5. Both the cameras have auto focus capabilities. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD.The device supports dual SIM and packs 2400 mAh battery.

Design wise, the device is pretty impressive and look good as well. The device reminds us of the Micromax’s Windows Phone, the Canvas Win 121 (review) with almost similar design.
The right side has the power button while the volume keys are on the left side. The micro USBD and 3.5mm jack are placed on the top. Lava has given a metallic finish around the bezel giving the phone a decent look. The front panel has the 5 inch FWVGA display and above the display is the 5MP front camera and the LED flash.
Below, you have the three capacitive touch buttons for home, back and menu. The rear panel has matte finish and feels premium. The 8MP rear camera and dual LED flash and the speakers are on the rear panel.
The display even though is of low resolution, feels pretty vibrant although not really sharp. Since it has IPS display, the viewing angles are pretty ok. The 480P resolution on a 5 inch display is clearly evident from the pixels visible on the display.
The overall build quality of the device is pretty impressive for a phone in 7k price point. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and out of which close to 6GB is user available as internal storage and phone storage. You can also expand via microSD card.

If I were to choose from the list, would pick Redmi 1S or the Lumia 535.
I just bought the phone. The performance was awesome. But if i kept the phone on table and it was being kept with a little more shake or a bit bang(not too much) or if the back cover is being opened,the screen freezes..
Even when the phone is restarting sometimes,its freezing at Iris..
Is this a phone problem? Are the sets having any issue or is it just me?

We didnt face any such issues as mentioned. Probably you should be taking it to service center, or you can do a complete reset of the device in case it is something to do with software.
Did the reset sir. The problem persisted. I guess then the problem is with my set only.
